"Harlequin Gem" is a strain of Helleborus (Lenten Rose) with large double flowers having very complex color patterns. The inside color can be streaked with red, green or yellow. The reverse is black or purple for a very striking contrast. This strain is a member of the "Winter Jewels" series, bred by hybridizer, Marietty O'Bryne. Very rare and choice item. Winter-blooming.
