This immensely appealing flower is a full 7 inches across, bright sunny yellow with a delightful blush-pink ruffled edge. Very new and rare. Note: It has come to our attention that this daylily has the same name as one originally registered as 'Big Smile' with the American Hemerocallis Society (Dr. Darrel Apps). The two are not the same. Our 'Big Smile' (translated from Dutch ) which we continue to list as such for the time being, lacking an alternative name --maybe "Large Grin"? is a canary yellow tetraploid with a bright pink ruffled edge. It is a 1997 seedling (Vera Biaglow tetr x Bowl of Cherries) bred by Mr. Klinkhamer of The Netherlands. We apologize for any unintended naming infringement. Tetraploid This daylily always reblooms for us early October. Plant size Heavy 1- fan divisions.
Height: 24 inches
Bloom Time: July-August
